Dr. V.Kanagaraj the younger son of Dr.GVN.,Secretary of the GVN Hospital. He is a specialist in Child Care, ENT & Cancer. He is a simple, dedicated and service minded personality.

He is attending the Sri Ramakrishna Thapovanam and Ramakrishna Kudill on every Saturday and renders free medical services to the students and Swamijees of both the institutions. Daily he is attending the Socsead orphanage home at Mampazhasalai, Srirangam which is an adoption centre for uncared children and renders medical service for these Orphan Children.

He is also rendering community health services at Srirangam (Urban) and Thiruparaithurai (Rural). All the inmates of the Old age home run by Kanchi Sankarachariyar, Sankara Mutt at Thiruvanaikoil are offered free medical services. As a philanthropist he has arranged to supply free noon Meal to all the poor in the Annathanan Samajam, Trichy everyday.

He has organized 250 free Medical Camps in and around Trichy, Pudukkottai and Karur District to detect cancer. The patients who were found positive in cancer are given free treatment. HE HAS BEEN APPOINTED AS A MEDICAL CONSULTANT FOR THE AUSTRALIAN EMBASSY IN APPRECIATION OF HIS SERVICES.
